When is $1.9 Million worth more than $2 Million?

When is $1.9 million greater than $2 million? When you received a PPP loan of $2 million or more, but have to complete a questionnaire to demonstrate that there was enough economic uncertainty and that you used the funds appropriately; that’s when you wish you had taken $1.9 million instead. The form for non-profits is form 3510 and the form for for-profit firms is 3509.
Guess what Congress was occupied with last week? Consequently, there was nothing done on the stimulus side. We will see shortly what the results of the election will be on any stimulus plans down the road as Congress convenes this week.

Veterans Day - On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918, World War I came to an end with the signing of the Armistice. In 1938, November 11th became a national holiday known as Armistice Day. In 1954, Congress formally changed the name to Veterans Day. Click here to access the Wikipedia page for Veteran’s Day. For those of you that have served in the Armed Forces of the United States of America, thank you. As the Department of Veterans Affairs notes, Veterans Day does not have an apostrophe because it is not a day that ‘belongs’ to veterans, it is a day for honoring all veterans. Thank you to William Russell for serving in the Korean War. He is 91 years old and lives in Upland, California.
Helping Foster Children - I am on the board for Trinity Youth Services, a non-profit that takes care of and places foster kids with families. An organization that supports these efforts, Children’s Foundation of America, will host a Virtual Gala and Online Auction on Thursday, December 3 as part of its annual Holiday Heroes Campaign to benefit children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect, and abandonment. The Foundation supports these children in out-of-home-care placements, such as foster care, residential therapeutic programs, and mental health settings.
